Burning Red Hot!
The Flames are a girls' 19 & under (players are 19
years old or younger) amateur ice hockey team. We
are sanctioned by USA Hockey (the national governing
body of amateur hockey in the United States) and the
Colorado Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) (the
state affiliate of USA Hockey). We play in the Mountain
States Girls' Hockey League (MSGHL) which includes
teams from across the state of Colorado and New
Mexico. The Flames home rink is Big Bear Ice Arena
in Denver, Colorado.
We're gearing up for 2007-2008 and we want you!

MSGHL Competition
The MSGHL continues to lead the charge for
improving girls' hockey in Colorado! The
league is pushing its membership to diversify
and will offer tiered divisions at each age level
wherever possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for the more
developed player to have the chance to play
regularly at a faster pace. And for the more
inexperienced player, it will allow her the
chance to play at her speed.

Learn to Play Hockey!
With help from CAHA, Hot Shot Hockey will be
offering an entry-level program for girls who
want to play but don't have any experience. It's
open to all girls who want to play the greatest
game on Earth!
And we're going to make you an offer you
can't refuse!

Hockey is a Game and Games are Fun!
Youth hockey is a medium for your children to
get exercise, meet new people and learn
about themselves. Mostly, it is about having
fun! Hot Shot Hockey does not measure the
success of its teams simply by their
win-loss-tie records. Success is determined
by each player's development and
involvement with their team. The best
barometer for their success is if the kids are
having fun and learning!
Community Support
Hot Shot Hockey and the Flames extend our
sincerest thanks to the Shaka Franklin
Foundation for Youth for its support of the
girls in our inaugural season. Shaka helps
kids, and the community should help Shaka.
