MSGHL split divisions
Discussion at recent league meetings has brought to light the issue of better accomodating the
varied level of skill as girls' hockey continues to grow statewide. Wherever possible, the league
would like to allow for two skill divisions in the various age classifications. We will make every
effort to help make it so and provide a better option for the less experienced and the more
developed players out there in the hockey community!
Registration
Hot Shot Hockey (HSH) will consider any 'upper-level' MSGHL team as a class 'A' team and any
'lower-level' team as a class 'B' team in a split division age group as above. A tryout will be held for
all A teams. HSH will register players on a first-come, first-served basis (max roster: 15 players
and 2 goalies per team) after returning players have been granted the opportunity to remain with
the program. HSH must have a completed registration sheet with first payment in order to be
accepted and guaranteed a spot. All accompanying paperwork (see application form) must be
submitted before ANY player will be allowed on the ice once practices begin.
Players in older-age classifications should have previous hockey/skating experience and HSH
shall deny rostering players who do not have the very minimum level of ability in order to maintain
safety.
Payment Policies
Applications that are received without payment will not be accepted!
All payments must be made by check to the order of 'Hot Shot Hockey, LLC'. All payments are due
according to deadlines (see application sheet). Failure to pay accordingly shall result in
suspension from all participation at that time. Participants who are found to be delinquent
according to HSH's discretion will be expelled from the program and reported to the Colorado
Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) per CAHA policies governing player transfers and financial
release. HSH may also pursue additional means to collect delinquent fees.
HSH does not grant refunds (outside of exceptional situations and ONLY at HSH's discretion). If
for any reason a program cannot be offered before it is scheduled to begin, a full refund will be
granted. Otherwise, once accepted to a program, participants are obliged to continue in full
through its duration and meet all financial obligations (see application form).
